When the Israelite Naomi and her two Gentile daughters-in-law, Orpah and Ruth, are left as widows, Naomi begs them to return to their own people. Orpah agrees, but Ruth declares she will never forsake Naomi and accompanies her mother-in-law back to Israel. Her faithfulness is rewarded when Naomi’s kinsman, Boaz, falls in love with Ruth and marries her.

Ruth is a remarkable testimony to faith in God. She lived during a time when many had turned to idolatry. Her faith proved to be an inspiration to many Jewish people, even though she was born a Moabite, making her a foreigner to their land. God blessed her for her belief. She married a loving husband and became the great grandmother of Israel’s greatest king. Ultimately, her faith touches all of us through her will come the Messiah.

The story of Daniel and the lions’ den is a classic Bible story for all ages!

God gives Daniel great wisdom and the special ability to interpret dreams. As a trained Chaldean--astrologer, sorcerer, enchanter, and magician—Daniel and his three friends (Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego) were to serve as advisors to the Babylonian court.

After Darius becomes King, Daniel becomes his first president. The king is tricked into issuing an edict that commands everyone worship his statue. Because of whom he serves, Daniel refuses to obey and is thrown into the lions’ den. God protects Daniel while in the lions’ den, and Darius recognizes that Daniel's God is the one, true God.

We paid allot more but they are priceless -- truly worth every penny. We have watched ours so many times but each time we watch them we get more out of them. They are for all ages, not just children.
