Little Dogs on the Prairie #1: Pride, Prejudice and Fudge, DVD

Doggone! These little darlin's from the desert deliver laughs and valuable lessons at the same time! In this DVD, the prairie dogs are ready to give you three lessons about prejudice, pride and holding grudges.

Stanza By Me: Hollister is glad to get some help in his telegraph office, even if it is from a low-down, belly-crawling, vermin-infested snake! The entire Prairie Town gang learns an important lesson about prejudice. (1 Samuel 16:7) Includes the song "Git Along Little Doggies."

Have Gum, Will Travel: Scout rises to stardom when his bubbles become the biggest thing in town. But will he blow it? Find out in this story about the danger of pride. (Proverbs 16:18) Includes the song "Too Much Pride."

Here Come Da Grudge It's showdown and hoedowns when a misunderstanding causes Hollister and Gilroy to learn the folly of holding a grudge. (James 1:19-20) Includes the song "What Love's All About."

Recommended for ages 4 and up, running time: Approximately 35 minutes, closed captioned.

Little Dogs on the Prairie #2: Lyin', Cheatin', and a Hot Lollipop, DVD (No Longer Available!)

Those lovable little cactus-land critters are back--offering plenty of laughs and valuable lessons about lying, cheating, and stealing!

In Lyin' it's Sport's birthday, and he wants something no one can get--an autographed picture of his hero, legendary star of stage and screen Tom Trailmix. But wait! Could Patterson be a close friend of Tom? And if he is, who will learn this story's important lesson about lying? (Proverbs 6:16-17) Includes the song "When You Start Lyin'."

Cheatin': When old Miss Richardson and her mother finally become astronauts, Miss Kittey becomes a substitute teacher, Gilroy spends some time in the desert on a horse with no name, and Hollister gets an unlicensed appendectomy. Oh, and somehow this all leads to somebody learning a valuable lesson about cheating. (Proverbs 11:1) Features the song "Don't Be a Cheater."

In Stealin' it's high noon on the prairie, and while the Sheriff is at lunch, there's no law in the land. Which is all the excuse a certain bunch of little dogs needs to go on a five-finger discount shopping spree. At least until lunch is over. (Exodus 20:15) With the song "It's a Real Bad Thing."

Recommended for ages 4 and up, running time: Approximately 35 minutes, closed captioned.

Little Dogs on the Prairie #3: A Lotta Love and a Little off the Top, DVD

Taming the wild and vast western frontier was filled with many painful defeats and costly victories. And behind every legend there were scores of nameless heroes whose brave sacrifices have gone unsung. These stories won't change that. But they are set in the Old West, and hey, well, that's something.

A Flip, A Curl, A Wave and A Twirl: Join the Little Dogs on Miss Kittey's first day in Prairie Town! Start with a few curls. Add some cornrows, mohawks and pompadours. Throw in some snarls, split ends and tangles for good measure. Top it off with six little dogs who are suddenly in love with their looks. The result is a ghost town and one worried cat on the worst hair day of her life! It's a hair-raising story on the dangers of vanity. (Philippians 2:3-4). Includes the song "Style Where it Really Counts."

For the Love of Sport: Gilroy helps Sport learn that life isn't always fair and sometimes even true love hurts. And while a simple yo-yo can't change that, it can certainly take some of the edge off. That and a nice Fruity Chewy Chew. So join Sport as he learns that Gilroy isn't always great at keeping secrets, a good slogan is worth its weight in gold, and that love is never selfish (1 Corinthians 13). Features the song "Love Is."

Recommended for ages 4 and up, running time: Approximately 35 minutes, closed captioned.
